As long as there is love there will be grief.
Heidi Prier

Grief

Let's face it, grief is shit!

There is no other way to explain it: that yearning in your heart for something you no longer have stings!

I've come to accept that it never goes away, but some parts can be released and expressed so that they don't get stuck in the body. By creating time and space to face your grief, you can lighten the load so you can get on with your life. It can even be transformed into growth. I am here to help you get through the tricky parts with a range of holistic practices and coaching techniques.

To feel, get real and heal around your grief.

My journey with Grief

Nothing can compare you for loosing the person you are closest to in the world. I had no brothers or sisters and my parents separated when I was very young. I was 27 at the time and it felt so lonely and dark sometimes. Learning to live with what I had from now on was scary.

I realised she had been my everything: a mother, sister, best mate, father, everything. We had a very close connection because when we were growing up, we lived in a small flat, just us—so accepting that she was gone felt like I was missing a vital organ in my body.

When my mother died, I transitioned through so many stages of grief: denial, avoidance, numbness, anger, replacement and finally, acceptance. I am so grateful to India for holding me during these first few grieving years. Here I delved into grief rituals and grief support groups. Slowly I started to accept and face my grief. But it took me time.

I trained in somatic and trauma-release practices to support me with my journey. More recently, I have completed my studies as a grief coach to delve deeper into my journey with grief and enhance my skills in supporting others. Grief doesn’t go away, and I am constantly healing and working on this area of myself, developing my tool kit so I can share it with others.
